AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic has publicly addressed his recent breakup with golfer Alexa Melton. Melton confirmed the separation last month.

In an interview with Time Magazine ahead of the upcoming World Cup, Pulisic described Melton’s influence on his life. He characterized their time together as enjoyable, noting her encouragement for him to embrace life more fully.

“I only look at her in the most positive way,” Pulisic stated. “She was a lot of fun, and she supported me in every way. She wanted to push me to enjoy my life a little bit more and do things with her and do things just in general. And I was grateful for that.”
