Sunderland Linked to Millwall Winger Femi Azeez
Sunderland has emerged as the latest Premier League club interested in acquiring Millwall winger Femi Azeez, according to a report from the Daily Post.
Azeez, 24, had a standout season with Millwall, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists in 37 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship. His performance earned him a spot on the Championship Team of the Season.
In addition to Sunderland, clubs including Everton, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Fulham have previously expressed interest in the talented winger. Millwall is reportedly willing to consider offers for Azeez, but only if they are substantial. The club is expected to seek a transfer fee in the region of €20 million.
