Nigerian Footballer Joins Finnish Club HJK
Helsinki, Finland — David Temidayo Olorunfemi, an 18-year-old talent from Nigeria, has officially signed with Finnish football club HJK. According to reports from DAILY POST, Olorunfemi has secured a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.
The young player transfers to HJK from Tripple 44 Football Academy in Nigeria. In acquiring Olorunfemi, HJK successfully outmaneuvered competition from clubs in Sweden and Denmark.
Olorunfemi arrived in Helsinki last weekend and spent several days acclimating to his new surroundings before finalizing his agreement with the club. Expressing his enthusiasm, he stated, “It feels great to come here; this is a great opportunity for me. Striving towards domestic success and European competitions is exactly the kind of challenge I have been looking for. I can’t wait to help the team as best I can.”
HJK aims to leverage Olorunfemi’s skills as they pursue both national and international success in the coming seasons.
