Turkish Cup: Osimhen back for Galatasaray’s tie against Gençlerbirliği
Victor Osimhen is set to make his return for Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup quarter-final against Gençlerbirliği on Wednesday, according to reports from DAILY POST.
The striker resumed full training last week after recovering from an arm injury that sidelined him for four consecutive league matches. Although Osimhen traveled with his teammates for a Turkish Super Lig match against Gençlerbirliği over the weekend, he did not participate in the matchday squad.
He completed full training sessions on both Monday and Tuesday. Turkish newspaper Sabah reported that Osimhen is expected to play between 15 to 20 minutes in the upcoming match.
His return is anticipated to help prepare him for Sunday’s critical intercontinental derby against title rivals Fenerbahçe.
