Paris Saint-Germain Manager Luis Enrique has identified Bayern Munich as the toughest opponent his team has ever confronted. He made this remark during a pre-match news conference ahead of PSG’s Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday.
PSG enters the match with a slight advantage, having narrowly defeated the Bavarians 5-4 in the first leg at Parc des Princes last week.
“In these types of matches, facing such an opponent, who is undoubtedly the strongest team we have ever faced, is significant,” Enrique said. “While we have a one-goal advantage, it’s important to remember that means nothing in football.”
