Zimbabwe’s head coach, Kaitano Tembo, expressed his determination for a victory in the upcoming Unity Cup semi-final clash against Nigeria. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, at The Valley in London.
The Warriors, as Zimbabwe’s national football team is known, arrived in Birmingham on Thursday to begin their preparations for the invitational tournament.
Tembo emphasized the significance of starting the competition with a win. “It is important for us to see a lot of positives from the team. We want to win because it is essential to begin on a positive note and maintain that momentum,” he said in a statement to the Zimbabwe Football Association’s official website.
The Warriors are set to travel to London on Sunday ahead of the match against the Super Eagles.
