Warriors of Zimbabwe Begin Training in Birmingham Ahead of Unity Cup Semi-Final
BIRMINGHAM, England — The Warriors of Zimbabwe conducted their first training session on Friday in preparation for their upcoming semi-final match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the Unity Cup.
Head coach Kaitano Tembo oversaw the session, which included his assistant coaches. The team arrived in Birmingham on Thursday for the friendly invitational tournament.
The Warriors are scheduled to continue their preparations on Saturday, focusing on the critical match that will take place next Tuesday at the Valley.
The victor of the encounter will advance to the final, where they will face either India or Jamaica.
