World Cup 2026: ‘Tom Brady of France’ – Thierry Henry, Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Olise

Fox Sports Analysts Compare France Winger Olise to Tom Brady
Fox Sports commentators Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have drawn a parallel between French winger Michael Olise and former American football quarterback Tom Brady, calling him the “Tom Brady of France.”
Their comments followed France’s 2-0 victory over Morocco in the World Cup quarter-finals on Thursday at Boston Stadium.
“I want to highlight the pass from Michael Olise,” Henry remarked. “As soon as he gets the ball, it’s over. We are here in Foxborough… Tom Brady, that is one of your loop passes in between. This team is very good.”
Ibrahimovic echoed Henry’s sentiments, stating, “He [Olise] did amazing again. He was the point guard. The Tom Brady of France today.”
While Olise has yet to score a goal in the World Cup, he has made a significant impact with five assists in the tournament.
