Super Falcons Goalkeeper Aims for Golden Glove in Women’s Super League
Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is on a quest to secure the Golden Glove award in the Women’s Super League (WSL). Nnadozie, who joined the team on a free transfer last summer, has recorded six clean sheets in 18 league appearances this season.
At 24 years old, she currently trails behind players Ayaka Yamashita, Hannah Hampton, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce, each of whom has achieved seven clean sheets.
Nnadozie has also been recognized for her performances, winning the Save of the Month award twice this season. In addition to her individual accolades, she is eager to secure her first trophy with Brighton.
The Seagulls are set to face Liverpool in the semifinal of the Women’s FA Cup on Saturday at BrewDog Stadium.
