2027: Don’t underrate Makinde, APM will reset Nigeria – Bala Mohammed

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, who serves as the National Leader of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), urged Nigerians on Monday to take the party’s presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, seriously as the nation approaches the 2027 elections.

Mohammed made the remarks during the inauguration of the APM’s presidential campaign office in Abuja. He emphasized the party’s mission to “reset Nigeria” and highlighted Makinde’s qualifications as a key factor in this endeavor.

“The strength of a good party lies in its leadership, and our chairman is a knowledgeable young individual who also leads established political parties in Nigeria, serving as the chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC),” said Mohammed.

He noted that the campaign office was initiated by Makinde, demonstrating the party’s commitment to its goals.

Mohammed stated, “Those who disregard us do so at their own risk. We are here to reset Nigeria and introduce one of the best leaders this country has produced at both sub-national and national levels: Seyi Makinde.”

He urged the public not to underestimate Makinde, asserting, “This is a mobilizer, a resource manager, and an exceptional engineer.” He praised Makinde’s significant achievements in Oyo State, claiming that he transformed areas that had suffered neglect and abandonment into thriving urban environments.
