Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has weighed in on the upcoming Premier League clash between Manchester City and Arsenal, offering his score prediction for the match.
Speaking with ESPN FC, Leboeuf highlighted distinct changes since the teams last faced each other in the Carabao Cup final in March, where City secured a 2-0 victory. He noted that the return of defenders William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães has significantly strengthened Arsenal’s defense.
“With Saliba and Gabriel together, it is a different defense for Arsenal,” Leboeuf said. “I think it will be harder for Manchester City to beat Arsenal. I would say a 2-1 win for City.”
As the match approaches, Arsenal currently sits atop the Premier League standings with a six-point lead over Manchester City.
