Paris Saint-Germain Targets Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli
Paris Saint-Germain has expressed interest in acquiring Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli, according to the French publication L’Equipe. The Parisian club is reportedly looking to strengthen its attacking lineup ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Luis Campos, the football advisor for PSG, has already initiated discussions with Martinelli’s representatives regarding a potential transfer to the French capital.
In addition to Martinelli, PSG is also considering a move for RB Leipzig’s young winger, Yan Diomande, who has garnered interest from English clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool.
Martinelli, 24, joined Arsenal from Brazilian club Ituano in 2019 for a fee of £6 million and has since made over 271 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 62 goals. Reports earlier this month indicated that Arsenal could be open to selling Martinelli, along with other players such as Gabriel Jesus, Ben White, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly, during the summer transfer window.
