EPL: He’ll bring stability – Gary Neville on manager Man Utd should appoint permanently

Manchester United Great Gary Neville Backs Michael Carrick for Permanent Role
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has expressed confidence that Michael Carrick could provide much-needed stability to the club if appointed as head coach on a permanent basis.
Following a dramatic 3-2 victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford that secured Champions League qualification for United, Neville suggested that Carrick has emerged as the leading candidate for the position. Since assuming control from Ruben Amorim in January, Carrick has achieved a commendable record, guiding the team to 10 wins in 14 matches.
“No one else is being seriously linked with the job. He’s put himself in pole position with what he’s accomplished,” Neville said in a post-match interview with Sky Sports. “Manchester United need some stability. They have not had that for the last few years, but he’ll bring that in the sense that everyone trusts him.”
