Idris emphasized that the Special Modified Medical Outreach reflects Governor Dauda Lawal’s commitment to enhancing public health in Zamfara. The outreach not only offers free medical treatment but also educates citizens on maintaining health and wellness, contributing to the community’s overall well-being.
Throughout its duration, the outreach program utilized tele-screening to deliver specialized care to patients in rural and semi-urban areas across 14 local government areas in the state. The program’s 17 phases have addressed a total of 5,282 surgical cases and 1,200 medical cases, which include various specialized and general surgeries.
