I performed money ritual, enjoyed wealth before losing leg in accident – Pastor Adedeji

A pastor from Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Joel Adedeji, shared his experience of how early involvement in money rituals led to the loss of his leg.
In an interview with BBC Yoruba, Adedeji described his pursuit of wealth and a better life, which prompted him to seek spiritual assistance. He consulted a herbalist, who advised him to engage in sexual intercourse with a woman of his choice and to use a piece of cloth to wipe her afterward. Following these instructions, Adedeji reported a surge in financial prosperity.
“The herbalist instructed me to find someone I liked and have intercourse with her, then clean her with a cloth afterward. After doing that, money came unexpectedly; he then asked me to bring more,” Adedeji recounted.
However, the pastor noted that further advice from the herbalist included a dire warning: he would never be able to purchase a car or build a house with the wealth he acquired. Adedeji enjoyed financial success for approximately four to five years before his situation deteriorated.
He described a traumatic incident that resulted in the amputation of his leg. The vehicle that struck him was his own, but it was being driven by an individual he had financed for the purchase. “Before I knew it, I was hit and landed in the hospital. By the time I woke up the next day, my leg had been amputated,” he recalled.
In light of his story, Adedeji advised young people to avoid seeking quick wealth through dubious means. He encouraged them to practice patience and trust that their fortunes will come in due time.
