Post-Election Reactions
Following the results, APC Collation Agent Gambo Babale characterized the election process as credible and transparent. “INEC has done so well. We’ve seen the processes across all the polling units, ward collation centres, and here at the AMAC area council collation centre. Everything was done perfectly well,” he stated.
Babale acknowledged that the PDP won two ward councillor seats—Karu and Karishi—as a further sign of transparency in the electoral process and extended congratulations to Maikalangu, expressing hope that his victory would yield positive outcomes for AMAC residents.
YPP Ward Collation Agent Abdullahi Ibrahim also praised the transparency of the election and congratulated the victorious candidate.
Result sheets from the election were signed by party agents of various parties, including the ADC, APC, APGA, YPP, and NNPP, present at the collation centre.
