How to check 2026 UTME results for underage candidates
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for underage candidates.
However, JAMB has emphasized that these results do not guarantee admission into tertiary institutions. Only candidates who meet specific criteria for exceptional admission are eligible to use their results for this purpose.
To qualify for exceptional admission, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 320 in the UTME, in addition to securing at least 80 percent in relevant subjects in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.
Candidates can check their results by following these steps:
1. Use the phone number registered for the UTME.
2. Send the word “RESULT” as a text message.
3. Address the message to either 55019 or 66019.
4. Results will be sent back via SMS shortly after submission.
