Wike Addresses Impact of Tinubu Administration on FCT Residents
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, asserted that residents of Abuja cannot overlook the impact of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Wike made his comments during a monthly media briefing in the capital on Monday.
He called on residents and Nigerians to move beyond any biases that may distort their perception of the administration’s contributions.
“Is it really just because people want to say they don’t feel the impact of this government?” Wike questioned. He acknowledged that while the government has not addressed every issue, those living in Abuja should recognize its effects, particularly in infrastructure development.
“Forget about your sentiment, forget about, ‘Oh, I want my village man to be President.’ If you really stay in Abuja, will you say this government has not made any impact in terms of infrastructure?” Wike added.
