Ikorodu City’s Joseph Arumala Aims for Team Success in Upcoming Season
Ikorodu City forward Joseph Arumala has expressed his commitment to helping the club secure a top position in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) during the 2025-26 season.
Currently, Arumala leads the NPFL’s scoring chart with 12 goals. Despite his personal success, he emphasized the importance of focusing on the team’s objectives rather than individual accolades.
“I just want to enjoy the remaining games of the season,” Arumala told NPFL media. “I am not targeting any number of goals but I just want to help my team do well so that we can finish the season very well. For me, it is a game at a time.”
Ikorodu City is striving to clinch the NPFL title for the first time in the club’s history.
