NPFL: Niger Tornadoes vs Plateau United called off due to heavy downpour
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday three fixture between Niger Tornadoes and Plateau United has been postponed to Monday morning due to heavy rainfall at the Bako Kotangora Stadium in Minna.
The match, which was halted in the 86th minute, left the pitch waterlogged. At the time of the stoppage, the score was tied at 1-1. Bashir Musa equalized for Niger Tornadoes with a well-placed shot after Jibrin Ibrahim had given Plateau United an early lead.
According to sources, the remaining six minutes, plus any additional time, will be completed at 8 a.m. on Monday.
