Oyo State Police Arrest Three Suspects Linked to Criminal Activities

The Oyo State Police Command announced the arrest of three individuals in connection with various criminal activities within the state.

Public Relations Officer Olayinka Ayanlade issued a statement regarding the arrests on Tuesday, which was shared with DAILY POST.

According to Ayanlade, the police have recovered several items, including firearms and vandalized cables, as part of the investigation.

The suspects were apprehended in Oyo town following a report received by officers at the Durbar Division. Ayanlade identified the arrested individuals as Suhaib Abdulwahab, 30, Kabiril Mustapha, 25, and Abdullah Abdullah, 25, all residing in the Akunlemu area of Oyo.

“Acting on the information received, police operatives from Durbar Division quickly proceeded to the location, where they arrested Suhaib Abdulwahab, the owner of a scrap shop,” Ayanlade said. “Further investigation led to the arrest of Mustapha and Abdullah, who are believed to be connected to the crimes.”

The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue.
