Transfer: ‘A dream come true’ – Azeez speaks on Brighton’s transfer

Femi Azeez, a Nigerian winger, expressed his enthusiasm following his transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion, according to reports from DAILY POST.
Azeez finalized his permanent move to Brighton from Championship club Millwall on transfer deadline day, with the club confirming a fee of €15 million. This transaction marks the highest sale in Millwall’s history.
The 25-year-old’s standout performances last season garnered attention, culminating in his selection for the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Team of the Season. He contributed significantly to Millwall’s campaign, tallying 11 goals and eight assists in 37 league appearances during the 2025-26 season.
Describing the move as a “dream come true,” Azeez reflected on the significance of the opportunity. “It’s every young boy’s dream, isn’t it? Something I’ve been dreaming of my whole life, and to be given this opportunity is like a dream come true, really,” he stated.
