Nollywood Actress Omeche Oko Injured in Motorbike Accident

Nollywood actress Omeche Oko sustained injuries in a serious motorbike accident while filming a scene just days before her birthday. The incident occurred on set in Lagos, where Oko was riding as a passenger with her colleague, Victory Michael.

A video of the accident, shared by Oko on her Instagram account Wednesday, shows the two actors colliding with a pole. Michael briefly lost consciousness after hitting the pole, while Oko suffered a broken leg.

Following the accident, fellow cast and crew members swiftly transported both actors to a medical facility for treatment.

In her Instagram post, Oko reflected on the severity of the situation, stating, “Life is very very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said no.” She encouraged fans to appreciate actors for the risks they take in their profession.

Numerous colleagues, including Mofe Duncan, Chinenye Nnebe, and Nkechi Blessing Sunday, expressed their support and well wishes in the comments section of her post.
