I would probably own media house if I’m not an artiste – Davido
Nigerian Singer Davido Discusses Career Aspirations Beyond Music
Nigerian musician David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, stated that he would have pursued a career in the entertainment industry even if his music career had not succeeded.
In a recent interview with PlayKisstra, Davido expressed his enduring passion for the entertainment sector, noting that he would have likely ventured into managing a record label or operating a media company.
“I’d probably be a label owner or have a media house because I’ve always loved entertainment,” he said. “Even if I was working in my daddy’s office, I can see myself having a side business like a music label just because I love music.”
Davido also highlighted his academic background, revealing that he holds a degree in business management. He indicated that he could have pursued a corporate career if necessary.
“I have a BSc in Business Management, so I can go to Barclays here and try to get a job,” he noted. “You know what I’m saying? I could get a job. I can actually get a job. I got a résumé.”
Davido first gained prominence in 2012 with the release of “Dami Duro,” the second single from his debut album, “Omo Baba Olowo.”
