Kebbi State Police Command Disburses N11.4 Million to Deceased Officers’ Kin
The Kebbi State Police Command has distributed cheques totaling N11.4 million to 18 beneficiaries and the families of deceased police officers as part of the Group Life Assurance (GLA) and Group Personal Accident (GPA) insurance schemes.
The presentation took place on Wednesday, September 17, 2026, and was conducted by Commissioner of Police Umar Hadejia on behalf of Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu.
This announcement was made via a statement from Police Public Relations Officer Bashir Usman, who represented the Commissioner of Police. The command emphasized that this payment underscores the Nigerian Police’s commitment to the welfare of families of its fallen personnel.
Hadejia remarked on the valuable contributions made by the deceased officers to the nation, assuring that their service will remain honored and remembered. He stated that the provided insurance benefits would significantly aid their families during these challenging times.
Beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, the Force Management Team, and Commissioner Hadejia for the financial assistance.
