Nigerian comedian and content creator Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, known as Bae U Barbie, has announced his decision to leave skit-making, citing a desire to break free from mediocrity.
In a recent episode of The Moraya Show, Bae U explained that his departure stemmed from his fatigue with being “average.” He articulated that the idea behind his popular talk show, “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” emerged during a period of self-discovery.
“I was tired of being average and wanted to do something different,” Bae U stated. “I didn’t want to be like other skit makers. A show called ‘Between Two Fence’ by Zack inspired ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask.'”
Bae U expressed aspirations to conduct an interview with U.S. President Donald Trump, highlighting his ambition within the realm of media.
In his career, Bae U has interviewed a range of notable figures, including former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, film icon Pete Edochie, and veteran television host Frank Edoho, among others.
