NPFL: River United remain focused despite unbeaten streak
Rivers United Captain Emphasizes Focus Amid Strong Start
Rivers United captain Stephen Manyo has expressed the team’s determination to reach their objectives this season. The Pride of Rivers remain unbeaten after seven games in the league, with a record of four wins and three draws.
Despite their strong start, Manyo insists that the players will not become complacent. “The spirit in the camp is good, the training sessions have been productive, and everyone is happy,” Manyo said in an interview with Rivers United’s media.
He added, “We are not losing focus; we still have a long way to go. We haven’t won anything yet, and our feet are on the ground. The coach has urged us to stay focused, and we are ready for the next game.”
Rivers United’s next challenge will come this weekend when they face Abia Warriors in Umuahia.
